I don’t trust Chet’s anymore. I used to. I had my Maverick truck towed in after it lost power on the interstate. They got the engine light off, charged me 200 bucks. Light came back on as I left the lot. Then, they replaced a sensor for 850 bucks. Light came on the next day. Took it back in. They got the light off again, said it was good to go! Good to Drive it all across Wisconsin. Thought it might be an update, issue, but no hurry. Broke down again 45 minutes out of town, had it towed back in. Then, 200 bucks more and an update, and we have it home again. But, for how long? 1300 in tows, 1200 in “repairs”. Three weeks. Lotsa borrowing cars, paying rentals, all that. I’ve lost faith in them. I can’t afford this. Neither can you.

What I love most about Chet’s Car Care is how they immediately make you feel like family. From the warmth of the staff and the mechanics, to fun 50s retro interior style, to the free freshly made coffee, and their AAA partnership discount. I cannot recommend this place enough

Chet’s has always been good to us. We had them replace a couple headlights on a Chrysler 200, something that most people could do by themselves, well not so fast on the 200. You have to take the wheels off to get to the headlight access panel in the wheel well. Long story shorter, one of the headlights came dislodged, took it back to Chet’s and they took care of us with that having just being done. Thanks to the team over there, they have been wonderful and fully truthful with us.

Do not use Chet's. I recently used them for a large repair, they were not communicative at all, and my car had a catastrophic knock when I picked it up. This was not relayed to me. I paid them $3400 and as I was driving away, I noticed the knock. I had to go back to bring the issue up to them, they would not take any responsibility. It could have been the worst case of Murphy's law at work, either way, they should have notified me of the knock before doing the costly repair For reference below is a video of the last time it was driven before dropping it off at Chet's. Absolutely no knock, just the clutch noise I was having repaired

Went in with a recommendation from a friend. Had promising thoughts with cool old school decor in the lobby and nice guys up front to help. Got my car in on Tuesday Jan 13th and got it back a week later on the Tuesday Jan 20th. Paid 1775.43$ for a handful of repairs mainly engine work for my radiator and coolant replacement with different lines and hoses for around 1200$ and was suggested brake work for around 600$. I asked before getting my car back so when I pull off, my car won’t be overheating and smoking. I was told no from Jeff who is one of the guys up front who I assume is the owner of the shop. After an hour of driving my car around doing errands it was overheating and smoking once again. They told me bring it back, and mechanic told me I need more clamps for a dripping line to stop the smoking / overheating. Was going to be charged 5$ for the part.. so I said just paid a lot for you to already stop it from doing my that so they took it 5$ off and left my car there to get the work done that should have already been done. Got a call later that night saying I need more clamps & hoses and temperature sensor and will be 73.11$.. Okay great, next day on the 21st I went to go pi
